Mon, July 7, 2008 - 7:22 PMI haven't tried one myself, but I don't think it would be a problem. Are you planning on growing it outdoors or in? Just be advised that they are summer dormant, so don't be surprised if it defoliates both in summer and winter! -

Tue, July 8, 2008 - 1:19 PMThen you definitely won't have a problem! I keep my desert rose outdoors all year long. It defoliates and goes dormant in the winter, then comes back strong the following spring. If you're keeping your elephantipes indoors it probably won't even go fully dormant.
